Politecnico di Milano on the podium of the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Excellent result for Physis PEB, the team of Politecnico di Milano, that last weekend joined for the first time ever the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge<\/a>, the only event in the world dedicated to boating innovation and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The over 70 students currently enrolled in different Programmes at Politecnico di Milano, led by a group of professors from the Department of Energy and the Department of Mechanical Engineering, ranked third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Races started on Thursday the 7th of July with the Qualifying Race, where the Polimi team got the best performance, beating also last-year winners by 1 second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Endurance Race was very tough for @Physis PEB team due to some technical problems, which forced the team to compete only for 1 hour out of 3 total hours. The result was the 9th position out of 13 participants, with a good performance during the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday was the last day, with two races. The team won the silver medal in the Slalom Race, with only 3 seconds delay from the winners. The Championship Race saw the @Physis PEB boat win the quarter-final and the semifinal and a strong fight in the final that was not in his favour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to the over 70 team-member students and all Polimi professors and Labs for their support to the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
