The Career Service organizes events along the year addressed to the meeting between companies and students or undergraduates of Politecnico di Milano:
- 3 annual Job fair (Career Day, International Job Fair and PMI Day)
- the “Recruiting Week”
- the events “Design your Future”
3 annual Job Fairs
The 3 annual Job Fairs represent a unique showcase that allows students and graduates to meet – on the same day – with representatives of many companies present in the University on work, internships, professional roles and growth prospects. The Career Day represents the largest job fair in Italy dedicated exclusively to technical professionals: every year over 100 companies gather at the Bovisa Campus to meet over 3500 students and graduates at the dedicated desks.
The International Job Fair is the fair dedicated exclusively to international companies with positions of work and internships abroad. It is held every year at the Leonardo Campus. Finally, the fair dedicated to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises – PMI Day – held every year at the Bovisa Campus: small enterprises in the Italian territory meet students and graduates interested in entering the employment sector with companies that constitute a solid reality in Italy.
Recruiting Week
With the “Recruiting Week”, every last week of the month the hiring companies present the open positions to the students and carry out the selection interviews; these meetings are designed specifically to allow undergraduates and recent graduates to hold one-to-one interviews in the University. The company representatives, interested in searching for new resources for the company to cover real open positions, have the opportunity to meet in a single session different candidates who have been previously selected on the basis of company requests and curricula sent.
Design your Future
The “Design Your Future” events are dedicated to students who want to understand the logic of the job market, learn about the companies and what they offer, discuss with various company managers. These are meetings dedicated exclusively to dialogue between students, undergraduates and managers on company dynamics, possible growth paths and opportunities offered by specific sectors of interest. During the meetings, real issues are often addressed and specific case studies are analyzed to allow participants to discuss the issues they will have to compete with tomorrow.
